A retailer is a business or individual that sells products directly to customers.

Explanation

In the dropshipping model, the retailer lists products on an online store, sets the selling price, and handles marketing and customer service. When a customer places an order, the retailer forwards the order details to a supplier who fulfills and ships the product directly to the customer.

Although the retailer does not manage inventory or shipping in a dropshipping setup, they remain responsible for the shopping experience, branding, and customer support.
