How to Source Products？

Ship To The Moon’s Sourcing feature helps you find and procure products efficiently—whether for dropshipping existing items or creating custom products. Here’s how to submit a sourcing request:

Step 1: Access the Sourcing Dashboard

1. Log in to your STTM account.(Need an account? Learn how to sign up here →)
2. Click Sourcing in the left sidebar.

Step 2: Create a New Sourcing Request

On the Sourcing page, click the New Request tab. You’ll see two methods to request product quotations:

Method 1: Link – Based Sourcing (Fastest for Existing Products)

Use this if you want to source a product already listed on platforms like Aliexpress, Alibaba, or Amazon:

1. Paste the product URL into the “Insert your url” field.
2. Select your target country/region (where you plan to sell the product).
3. Click Submit.

STTM will analyze the link and provide pricing, inventory, and fulfillment options tailored to your target market.

Method 2: Custom Sourcing (For Unique or Custom Products)

Use this for custom items, private – label products, or if you only have a design/image:

1. Upload a product image: Drag – and – drop a JPG/PNG file (≤2MB) showing the product.
2. Fill in details:
   • Product Name: The exact name of the item.
   • Product URL: (Optional) Link to a similar product for reference.
   • Note: Add special instructions (e.g., “Matte finish only”).
   • Target Quality: Choose from options like High Quality (default) or customize.
   • Budget: Your maximum acceptable cost per unit.
   • Expected Countries: The region(s) where you’ll ship the product.
   • Description: Detailed specs (size, material, colors, etc.).
3. Click Submit.

Step 3: Track Your Requests

1. Switch to the Quotations tab to view:
   • Total Requests: All requests you’ve submitted.
   • Quoted: Requests where STTM has provided pricing.
   • Remaining Requests: How many more requests you can submit this week (based on your plan).
   • Weekly Limit: Your weekly sourcing request quota.
2. Use the search bar to find specific requests by Product Name or SKU.
3. You’ll see three tabs to filter requests:

• All: Shows every sourcing request you’ve submitted.
• Product Quotation: Displays requests created via Method 2 (Custom Sourcing) (e.g., custom designs, private – label products with images/files).
• Product Link Quotation: Shows requests from Method 1 (Link – Based Sourcing) (e.g., Aliexpress/Amazon product links).

Key Notes:

• Turnaround Time: Most quotations are ready within 1–3 business days.
• Weekly Limits: Check the Weekly Limit counter to avoid exceeding your request quota.
• Funds Required: To place orders for sourced products, ensure your account has enough balance. Learn how to add funds →
